Things to Do with Kids in Aventura

Aventura Mall is a top attraction with the free Slide Tower (93 feet tall, open weekends), Rainbow Valley indoor playground for toddlers, and Gorillas in the Mist splash fountain. Founders Park has playgrounds and a seasonal splash pad. Tidal Cove Waterpark at JW Marriott Turnberry has water slides, a lazy river, and a kids pool. Oleta River State Park is great for kayaking and nature trails.

The Aventura Slide Tower at Aventura Mall is free to ride on Fridays through Sundays (50-inch height requirement). The Rainbow Valley Playground inside the mall is also free for toddlers. Founders Park is free for Aventura residents. The Don Soffer Exercise Trail is a free 3-mile paved loop popular for family walks and cycling.

Aventura Mall has the Rainbow Valley Playground for toddlers and hosts LEGO building workshops and Disney Store events. Day passes start at $55, and kids 3 and under are free. For beach swimming, Sunny Isles Beach is a short drive east with calm, family-friendly waters.
