Designed for children ages 3-6 and their families, this program invites budding scientists to discover the plants and animals that call South Florida home. Through hands-on activities and nature-based investigations at Ron Ehmann Park, families will explore a rare Pine Rockland ecosystem and learn how field biologists study the natural world. Snacks and water are included. Offered in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces. Mini-Me Science sessions last approximately 2.5 hours. Open for children ages three to six only and must be accompanied by an adult. Additional adults and older siblings may participate for an extra registration fee per person. We recommend guests arrive 15 minutes prior to program start time.
